From Bucket C, the Prasar Bharti raised Rs 141.05 crore from the sale of 13 slots at an average price of Rs 10.85 crore. The highest bid price was Rs 12.25 crore. The reserve price for the bucket was Rs 7 crore. The news channels who have won bucket C slots include Aaj Tak, Aaj Tak Tez, ABP News, India News, India TV, NDTV, News Nation, News 24 Think First, News 18 India, Republic TV Bharat, TV9 Bharatvarsh, Zee Hindustan and Zee News. The cumulative bid price for buckets D and R1 is Rs 30.85 crore and Rs 20.91 crore, respec- tively. A total of eight slots were sold in the two buckets. In the Bucket D, five slots were sold at an average price of Rs 6.17 crore each with the highest bid price being Rs 6.25 crore. The channels who have won slots in this category are Fakt Marathi, Manoranjan Movies, Maha Punjabi, Shemaroo Marathibana and Zee Punjabi. This bucket is reserved for channels from all other genres. The Bucket R1 saw three slots being sold at an average slot price of Rs 6.97 crore. The highest bid price for the bucket, which is reserved for Devotional / Aayush / Spiritual channels, was Rs 7.15 crore. The three slots have been won by C7, Lord Budha and Sadhana Bhakt. The key highlight of the e-auction was robust participation of channels across genres that saw several new channels make a debut enhancing the content diversity on DD Free Dish as a platform. The increased competitiveness in the e-auction process is reflected in the substantial increase in bids over base prices across genres. During the e-auction, A+ bucket was reserved for Hindi GECs. The highest bid price for the A+ bucket was Rs 15.2 crore while the reserve price was Rs 15 crore. The average slot price was Rs 15.16 crore. The four slots were sold to Abzy Cool, Big Magic, Dangal and Fun TV for a total of Rs 60.64 crore. The Bucket A slots, which is reserved for Hindi movie chan- nels, have been allotted to 12 channels for a total of Rs 156 crore. The average slot price is Rs 13 crore while the highest bid price is Rs 13.6 crore. The reserve price for the bucket was Rs 12 crore. The 12 channels who have been allotted slots are ABZY Dhakad, ABZY Movies, B4U Kadak, B4U Movies, Blue, Cinema TV India, Enterr10, Maha Movie, Manoranjan TV, Movie Plus, Satya, and Surya Cinema. Prasar Bharti collected Rs 184.8 crore from the sale of Bucket B slots which is reserved for Music (Hindi), Sports (Hindi), Movies (Bhojpuri), GEC (Bhojpuri), Teleshopping (Hindi) channels.
